Here I present a selection of lighting sculptures and installations. "Latest Finds on Mars" has been exhibited in Oslo at Kunstnernes Hus, DOGA, and permanently located at Kristiania University College. The painting - installation is designed as a picture in a frame on a plinth, and painted with iridescent and interfering paint on both sides of an acrylic glass plate. Together with photographs integrated in transparent bubbles, the plate is illuminated from the front and from behind with dynamic LED light which is integrated in the frame construction. The lighting scenarios programmed by me affect the depth effect of the painting and can also be controlled by the audience. "Reflections of an Earthly Tree on Mars" has, among other things, been exhibited in a solo exhibition in Paris. The installation consists of painting with iridescent media, integrated static and dimmable light and mirror. "Prehistoric Tree" is permanently located in Glamox Luxo's meeting room with glass walls, serves as protecting screen and as a luminous painting with shifting shades. TV 2' channels`s interior program "Time for home" invited me to design a room with various materials, colour and light in an apartment in Bergen. I created a tryptich with iridescent painting on glass, mounted on a dark background wall which can be illuminated and dimmed from both sides, and emit light over the dining table. The work continuously changes expression depending on the surroundings and also works when the integrated light is switched off.
Her er en presentasjon av et utvalg lysskulpturer og installasjoner. ”Latest Fin don Mars” har vært stilt ut i Oslo på Kunstnernes Hus, DOGA, og permanent plassert på Høyskolen i Kristiania. Maleriinstallasjonen er utformet som et bilde i ramme på en sokkel, og malt med iriserende og interferende maling på begge sider av en akrylglassplate. Sammen med fotografier integrert i transparente bobler er platen belyst forfra og bakfra med dynamisk LED lys som er integrert i rammekonstruksjonen. Lysscenarioene programmert av meg påvirker maleriets dybdeeffekt og kan også styres av publikum. ”Reflections of an Earthly Tree on Mars” har blant annet vært stilt ut på separatutstilling i Paris. Installasjonen består av maleri med iriserende maling, integrert statisk og dimbart lys og speil. «Prehistoric Tree» er permanent plassert i Glamox Luxos møterom med glasvegger, fungerer som avskjerming og samtidig som lysende maleri med shiftende nyanser. TV 2 sitt interiørprogram ”Tid for hjem” inviterte meg til å utforme et rom med materialer innredning, farge og lys i en leilighet i Bergen. Jeg skapte et lysende maleri montert på fondvegg som kan belyses og dimmes fra begge sider, og avgir lys blant annet over spisebordet. Verket forandrer kontinuerlig uttrykk og fungerer også når det integrerte lyset er slått av.
