Monoprint
When working with printing techniques I have been interested in creating an expression in the same spirit with my work done in other techniques, which at the same time reflects my main concept. I have worked with most printing techniques, but in recent years I have found it particularly interesting to concentrate on monoprint and carborundum. Each image is unique and even with similar motifs I work each motif by hand, then I can immerse myself in, and explore the color's expressive power and surface, textures that give closeness and sensuality to the motif.
Innen grafikk har jeg vært spesielt opptatt av å skape et uttrykk i samme ånd med mine arbeider utført i andre teknikker, som samtidig gjenspeiler mitt hovedkonsept. Jeg har arbeidet med de fleste grafiske teknikker, men siste årene har jeg funnet spesielt interessant å konsentrere meg om monotypi og carborundum. Hvert bilde er unikt og selv ved lignende motiv arbeider jeg motivet for hånd, da kan jeg fordype meg i, og utforske fargens egen uttrykkskraft og overflate teksturer som gir nærhet og sanselighet til motivet .
